Professional Development / November Workshop Day -
2024-25 Professional Development

This experiential session will offer resources and inspiration to help participants develop new ways for navigating stress, allowing them to be with life’s inevitable twists and turns with more resourcefulness. A wellbeing model developed by the University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing will be highlighted, and evidence-based tips and approaches will be provided for building emotional resilience in one’s everyday life.

Practical mindful self-compassion practices and self-care approaches will be presented and discussed. As part of the session, participants will be invited to practice a short, guided self-compassion practice. Participants will leave the session with practical tips for reducing stress and enhancing their personal wellbeing.
