  • Resonant Language for Deeper Listening

For paraeducators, teachers, administrators, social workers, counselors & mental health providers. In this three, one hour and 20 minute workshop series, participants will learn and practice moving into resonance for active listening and deeper understanding. Have you ever wondered why some people’s presence, support and listening feels so good, while other people’s support doesn’t seem to have much impact? In this interactive session, you will learn and practice specific, easy to implement strategies for deeper listening. Introduced techniques use relational neuroscience to explain how to use the language of the right hemisphere to access our innate, human capacity for deep resonance with ourselves and each other. When we are deeply attuned to others, we take in the nourishment, attention and care. Resonant attention and language changes the way we see ourselves and others. With our new eyes, we start to transform our experiences of shame and self-doubt into the sense that we and people around us are enough, just as we/they are. Sign up with a friend. We’re not meant to do this work alone! 4 BOSA CEUs Offered Presenter: Sasha Kuznetsov, MS
