This is an introductory course that will satisfy all eight areas of the Cultural Competency requirement for relicensure as outlined in MN Statute 8710.0310. This course is designed to explore potential bias in racial, cultural, and socioeconomic groups; American Indian and Alaskan native students; religious diversity; gender identity, including transgender students; sexual orientation; language diversity; individuals with disabilities and mental health concerns; and systemic racism. This virtual training is facilitated by Helen Ahearn and Elizabeth Harner, PELSB-certified trainers in the area of Cultural Competency. You must attend both the November 5th and November 12th session to earn your CEU.
